Jeanné Day is a Day to Give Back
May 4th is Jeanné Day, aka my birthday, and this year it falls on
"Giving Tuesday!" Yay!!!
Each year I like to choose a charity and ask my friends and family to make a donation instead of giving me gifts.
This year's charity is St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
If you don't know about St. Jude, these folks research cures for cancers that steal a kid's childhood away. Not only that, they care for children in their hospital using donations to fund treatments. To learn more, check out their website here.
It's been a rough couple years for all of us, so if you can't give money give someone joy in other ways.
