Closing Night Magic ~ Clyde’s

If you look up the word, “sublime,” you will see these folks as the example.

It made me tear up when my cast initiated their final curtain call, and the audience began to jump up with cheers before the bows even started. In no time, every single person in the house was on their feet, roaring with applause!

It is difficult to fully describe how I feel about this

experience and the extraordinary people who brought it to life. But as the curtain falls on an unforgettable run, my heart is completely full and my mind is flushed with pride.

Then came the bittersweet rhythm of load-out: taking apart the set piece by piece, sweeping the stage clean, and standing in the quiet expanse of the empty floor just before the next production rolled in to build its own world. But before the dust fully settled, we gathered for a BBQ - cast and crew together - to celebrate our hard

work, share a few final laughs, and bask in the triumph of a truly special run. Saying those final goodbyes is always the hardest part of the journey, but as the heavy box of memories closes, there is a quiet comfort in knowing it is time to pack up, step forward, and embrace the next adventure.

Mahalo to the cast, crew, and designers of Clyde’s. The experience and each of you will remain in my heart forever.
